A couple players from the MASHA league wanted to play pickup hockey so we're going to give that a try for a few weeks and see how it goes before starting any league.
Ice and roller hockey require skates - Floor hockey does not. We've created a recreational opportunity and as such all players are expected to respect the game, officials and other players. We strongly encourage that every player, especially those not familiar with the rules of hockey.
All players must register online and sign a waiver of liability prior to playing. This is a play at your own risk and assume all liability associated with playing or gaining access to the facility.
To get started, you’ll need a few items. This equipment must be worn/used at all times during play for your safety and the safety of others.
• Helmet designed and approved for street or ice hockey
• Hockey stick
• Shin and elbow pads
• Gloves
• Vinyl or rubber soled close toed shoes (no sandals, flip flops or slides)
Games/practices/scrimmages will be played on Sunday mornings from 8:30-10:00am. Cost per game is $10 per player per week and must be paid prior to playing. This registration is required to play but a weekly payment is required.
